"We would like to reach all kids that are in need of breakfast and further build our school community. Whether it's their first meal of the day or they are coming for a second breakfast, all students are welcome."

- Madeline, Breakfast Club Co-ordinator

Cereal for Coffee is proud to announce that our new Breakfast Club at Wavell Heights State School is running every Thursday and Friday over the school year.

Wavell Heights State School Breakfast Club Co-ordinator and volunteer Madeline Fletcher is already looking forward to serving the first breakfasts, and aims to give all students a healthy and nutritious start to the day.

"We would like to reach all kids that are in need of breakfast and further build our school community. Whether it's their first meal of the day or they are coming for a second breakfast, all students are welcome."

"If we can help one child it would make us happy, but if we can help 100 kids...Wow."

We encourage donations from the community, and are asking for UHT milk, cereal, bread and fresh fruits. You can also donate money to our organisation via our website, with donations over $2 being tax-deductible.

People who are affiliated with the school (and can obtain a blue card) are welcome to help out if they have a spare 30 minutes. If you wish to help out at the Breakfast Club, please contact Madeline Fletcher at the P&C address: pandc@waveheigss.eq.edu.au

Our difference

All funds raised will allow us to provide breakfast items such as long life milk, cereal and spreads to local schools and breakfast clubs, so they can ensure the children in their programs get to class with a nutritious breakfast.
